A special 2 skein kit for the Truly Myrtle Siren Song shawl pattern...or any 2 colour pattern that needs delicious yarn with a gorgeous soft handle and divine drape! Featuring Berry & Folklore:
Berry ~ all the warmth and deliciousness of your favourite berries - with tones that vary from delicate pink through fuchsia and magenta. Rich and decadent.
Folklore ~ the yarn embodiment of every mysterious, beckoning woodland, from your favourite fairy tales. Brown backgrounds ranging from dark chocolate to lightest milky tea, with highlights of deep greens and bright ferns, golden ochre, rich magenta and pops of magnificent blue sky. And they all lived happily ever after!
Merlin is a soft and springy single ply, fingering weight yarn. The linen strands spun throughout the yarn give it a gorgeous rustic appeal.
360m (394y) /100g
90/10 Superwash superfine merino/ linen, single ply twist
Every skein of yarn is hand dyed with love and care using professional, heavy metal-free acid dyes and dyes are fully exhausted. It is rare - but possible - for light colour bleeding to occur on the first wash, especially in highly saturated colourways.
Dye batches vary, please make sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project
Due to the nature and magic of the hand dyeing process, the appearance can vary slightly, even within each dye batch, and across different base yarns. This only adds to the beauty and uniqueness of each yarn, and I hope you love this aspect of hand dyed yarn as much as I do!
when using multiple skeins of a colourway in a project, I recommend you alternate skeins every 2 rows to best marry your skeins.
Recommend hand wash: the yarn is washfast and colourfast, and whilst it is superwash, I recommend you handwash your finished work in cool water. Rinse in clean water (I like to add a drop of my favourite essential oil) and roll in a towel to remove excess water. Then air dry flat for best results.
I take every measure to accurately represent the colours of my yarn, but I cannot account for individual variations in monitor settings.
